Touch of Home Cabins

The cabins are located in a small cabin and residential community near Seven Springs Mountain Resort and Laurel Hill State Park in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania in Somerset County.  This is a great get-away location from March through October. 

Text Box: Inside and out Touch of Home Cabins offer a friendly, relaxing, warm and cozy atmosphere. The Chickadee Cabin is on 1 ¾ acres that are wooded and landscaped with many different flowers and shrubs. The Kimmel Cabin is on 1 wooded acre with a small pond. You might also enjoy a visit from deer, wild turkey, squirrels, rabbits, ground hogs, song birds and other animals. Both cabins sleep up to 6 - The Chickadee Cabin has one bedroom with a double bed and one with bunk beds. A roll-away bed is available and one person could sleep on the sofa. The Kimmel Cabin has three bedrooms. Two with double beds and one with a bunk bed. A roll-away bed is available. We also have a portable crib available. Both have complete modern kitchens (except a dishwasher!) - Full size gas stove, refrigerator, and medium size microwave oven Assortment of electric appliances. An abundance of cooking dishes and tools, table and silverware (service for 8) Chickadee cabin has an electric fireplace and Kimmel Cabin a gas log fireplace, both of which can be enjoyed year round. In the warmer months Chickadee Cabin has a front deck and rear porch from which to enjoy family time in God’s creation. Both cabins have TV, VCR and DVD players - some children and family movies. TV via antenna: Chickadee Cabin has two digital channels: Kimmel cabin no longer has TV reception. Both cabins have at least one radio. Both have one full bath (Chickadee Cabin a tub/shower combination and Kimmel Cabin a shower only) Oil hot air furnace at Chickadee Cabin and vented gas heater at Kimmel Cabin Air conditioning at Chickadee Cabin in summer (two window units) Cabins are on quiet private dead end roads Both cabins have fire rings (wood may be available for small donation - all profits from wood are given to charities) Both cabins have gas grills and picnic tables. Cell phones should work at both cabins Fenced in backyard (4 foot high fence) at Chickadee Cabin Family games
